THE PURPOSE OF CONNECTING WITH OTHER PEOPLE ON LINKEDIN IS TO FURTHER YOUR OWN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND TO CREATE NEW BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS.


COME IN, WE'RE CONNECTED.

We all have a certain level of guardedness when approached by someone on LinkedIn to purchase their products or services in the same way we would when the guy selling encyclopedias would come knocking at your door.


However, for each sales message there needs to be an evaluation process.


1.) Who is this person?

2.) Do I need this product or service?

3.) Is this person/profile real or fake?

4.) Can I trust this person?


In todays LinkedIn family there are as many sellers as their are buyers so the community is ripe for business, and isn't that the point?
