Trade Show Marketing

Updated: Jan 26, 2022

Lisa Lyttle here with The VIDEO Business. Let's talk about trade show marketing. Now that the world is slowly opening up, trade shows are back, and I’m sure you are eager to be part of them!

You’ve invested a lot of time, effort and money into your trade show booth but are you really getting everything you can out of it? Are you handing out brochures at the show and relying solely on your sales staff to chase potential clients down and explain to them who you are and what you do? And I can almost bet, that there’s a number of occasions in the past, where you’ve come back from a show and you wish you had a greater impact.

Well I’ve got a super easy solution for you, what you need is a video at your trade show booth explaining who you are and what you do.

An explainer video is powerful BEFORE, DURING and AFTER your trade show event. You’re able to tell your story to a maximum number of people in the shortest amount of time possible and your video can be understood with or without sound, just by the graphics that it’s displaying on the screen. So while your prospects are walking down the isles towards your booth, they can watch your video and by the time they get to your booth, they’ll already have a good idea of what you have to offer. This makes it super easy for your sales staff to answer any questions they have when they arrive at your booth and to explain a little bit further.

After your event, share your video across multiple social media platforms like LinkedIn or YouTube. Put it on your company homepage, so it’s the very first thing anyone will see when they visit your website. Present your video during sales meetings, add it to your email signature and send it out to everyone that has visited your trade show booth…it’s a friendly, gentle reminder of who you are and how you can help them.

In these days, everything is going video, no one wants to spend their time reading long-winded sales copy about something they’re not even sure if they need. Let me help you create a short, engaging and entertaining video that will help you explain your products and services to the world.
